Rwanda : Why you should not rent, but purchase a wedding suit
In Rwanda, most men rent suits and nobody can blame them for it either, considering that they probably plan on wearing it for just a few hours. This is partly because these suits are too ceremonial and cannot work in many places.
When it comes to the weddings, it’s all about her from introduction ceremony to the civil marriage to the wedding reception; men do not have a lot to talk about sometimes concerning dressing.
Even guests concentrate tend to concentrate on the bride’s gown and not on your suit unless, you select it wisely. Though all eyes will definitely be on her dress, there’s no harm in stealing a few glances for yourself on that day by suiting up in something new and cozy.
Reasons why purchasing is better than renting a suit
Rented suits never fit properly and most of them always look cheap. Besides, the fact that many people wore it on their special day brings a different feeling.
Quit the working style on your wedding day. Suiting up in something new rather than a rental makes a big difference from giving a presentation in a board meeting and getting married. Go black, three piece, and shell out somewhat more than you always put on for office work.
Despite your best instincts, your energy and hard earned money is better spent on something that fits perfectly after all your wedding day comes around once. It can be inexpensive but a well fitting suit instead of pricey ill-fitting one.
Buying gives you chance to use the suit after wedding to other functions. All you do is ditch the vest and opt for a matching tie plus wear the vest over the shirts when going to other places.
The type of the fabric also plays a big role though it doesn’t necessarily have to be expensive. With a good fabric, it’s easy for a tailor to construct a winning wedding suit that looks much better than a rented one.
Renting a suit limits one on design, size and color somehow while buying allows you to suggest a new design to your tailor, and the tailor to help you on color selection.
Buying a suit for the big special day would be the best, if doesn’t drain your pockets. However, a bride groom can purchase his suit and then rent for the entourage.
